East Bay Valentines Day

Local

You've seen the dating apps. People make their list of interests very romantic: walking on the beach, picnics in the park, watching the sunset, etc. Did you know you can make the fantasy a reality? You don't need to go the traditional route of chocolates and flowers. You can live the dream in the East Bay. Here are a few tips;

1. Walking on the beach: There's lots of places where land meets salt water in the East Bay. The Albany Bulb is one of them. There's a tiny beach on your left as you enter the Bulb that begins the adventure, and a walk on the bulb itself can add to the fun. It's loaded with found art sculptures and photogenic views of the city and bay.

2. Picnics in the park: "A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou beside me in the wilderness." Get your romance on with a picnic lunch in one of the many great parks in the East Bay. Tilden Regional is the largest, and there are plenty of spots therein near streams and views. Trails of beautiful walks can lead you to the perfect place to picnic.

3. Watching the Sunset: And where best to do that then on a Valentine's Day Bay Cruise. Enough said!

4. Perhaps the most romantic thing of all is planning a future with the one you love. How about a tour of local homes for sale? Or perhaps you're looking to sell and a move to a dream location? Establishing a home makes it plain that the two of you have a life to live together. Call or text me (510-418-1306) and let's talk about your next move!
